Volunteer Registration

To begin the process, complete the following Volunteer Registration Form and Authorization for Emergency Medical Treatment. Once you have done this, CTREE will contact you to schedule a Volunteer Orientation and Training. Volunteer orientations are held regularly on Thursdays, or as needed on other days by request.

Orientation includes a tour of our facility, plus instruction in hands-on grooming and tacking, learning and practicing leading and side-walking, and an overview of safety procedures. CTREE operates year round in two 8-week sessions and two 10-week sessions. Lessons are private or semi-private and are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the late afternoon as well as on Saturday mornings. CTREE also has many additional volunteer opportunities outside of Lessons.

Confidentiality Policy

As a volunteer who works with our CTREE riders, you will be given enough background information so you may be informed as to the rider’s needs. The circumstances of a rider’s life, condition, disability, actions or behavior are considered confidential.
