CTREE provides therapeutic riding lessons and equine assisted services to children and adults with cognitive, physical and emotional challenges, including, but not limited to ADD/ADHD, Aspergers, autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, emotional disability, learning disabilities, stroke, and visual impairments.

CTREE offers private and semi-private lessons in eight and ten week sessions, year round. Lessons include basic riding skills, trail riding, exercises, games, grooming and tacking.  CTREE also offers other equine assisted activities, therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning for veterans, frontline and essential workers, and school groups. Applicants must submit completed CTREE application forms and will be scheduled for an evaluation which consists of a tour of the facility and a short riding session. All evaluations are conducted by a certified PATH Intl. instructor and trained volunteers. Following the evaluation, the staff will assess the applicant’s eligibility.

I love CTREE because it’s great exercise for me and it nourishes my soul. To be on a horse is just a great way to calm my nervous system and be in nature.
