  • Cathleen Curran

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Cathleen has previously served in leadership roles at multiple non-profit organizations. Most recently she served as the director of major and planned gifts at Bideawee. She has a Masters of Science Non-Profit Management from the Robert J. Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy, New School University. Cathleen was an avid equestrian and has roots in the North Fork Community.

  • Karen Bocksel

    PROGRAM DIRECTOR & PATH INTL. ADVANCED INSTRUCTOR

    Karen has been involved in the field of therapeutic horsemanship for more than 30 years. She was co-founder of Therapeutic Riding at Centenary University, past board officer and executive director at Mane Stream in NJ and past-president of HRH of NJ. She is a PATH Int’l. advanced instructor, instructor mentor and accreditation lead site visitor.  She was the recipient of the 2015 Hampton Classic Horse Show’s Long Island Sportsmanship Award, the 2008 PATH Presidents Award, the 1994 PATH regional volunteer of the year award.  She and her family currently reside in Aquebogue.

  • Jill Carney

    PROGRAM COORDINATOR & PATH INTL. CERTIFIED REGISTERED INSTRUCTOR

    Gravitating to horses at an early age, Jill trained and competed in hunter-jumper and dressage for many years. An experience volunteering at a Special Olympics riding program sparked a passion for Therapeutic Riding and lead her to pursue her PATH instructor certification and mentor credentials. While preferring to be at the barn, she can also be found enjoying the beach and outdoors with her son.

  • Shannon Bozzuto Chant

    PATH INTL. CERTIFIED REGISTERED INSTRUCTOR

    Shannon was raised in Connecticut and attended University of Connecticut earning her degree in Animal Science with an emphasis on Equine Studies. She moved to Long Island with her husband and growing family in 2005 and received her Therapeutic Riding Instructor certification in 2008. Shannon headed a large therapeutic riding program prior to coming to CTREE in 2009. When she is not teaching lessons, you can find her on the trails hiking with her dogs or being a horse show/soccer mom.
