The Center for Therapeutic Riding of the East End (CTREE) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It is the first and only PATH International Premier Accredited center dedicated to providing therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning and activities for the special needs community on Long Island’s East End.
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025 we will be holding our 2nd annual Spring Swing: Golf for a Cause benefit. This is a fun spring event with golf, breakfast, BBQ lunch, cocktail hour, buffet dinner and a silent auction at the Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton. It is one of CTREE’s largest fund-raiser, and we are asking for your help this year to reach our fundraising goal of $150,000!
CTREE lesson fees, the lowest on LI, cover only a quarter of total costs. We rely on donor support and fund-raisers such as Spring Swing: Golf for a Cause to make up the difference. Seventy-five percent of our at-risk and special needs school programs are assisted by CTREE scholarships, and one-third of our local riders receive additional financial aid.
Serving riders from all the east end towns, CTREE turns no rider away that would benefit from our programs. Your support will insure we can continue to help all who need us, be it physically, cognitively, or emotionally.
